​Babies grow so fast! As both a mum of 4 and as a Baby and Toddler Photographer I can personally attest to this. Capturing our babies in photographs as they grow is so important.

I offer sessions for babies of all ages so if your little one is past the newborn stage, then a Little Smiler or Little Sitter Session is perfect for them.
​
Little Smiler Sessions are great for that stage between the super sleepy newborn and the sitting, crawling stage, usually between 8 weeks and 6 months. I have lots of props which are big enough for older babies to lay in and I also asses your little on throughout, if they are settled and will allow me to pose them , I can sometimes get sleepier poses that are usually traditional in newborn sessions.

​Our Little Sitter Sessions at my Hull and East Yorkshire, Baby and Toddler Photography studio in North Ferriby are perfect for babies around 6-9 months when your little one is sitting securely. Of course often at this stage little bodies tire easily so I always ask parents to be close by and be my spotter to be sure we don't have any wobbles!

WHEN TO BOOK
Little Sitter Sessions at Bluebell and Lace Photography
We recommend that you get in touch a couple of months before you would like your session, especially if you would like a weekend session. I always encourage parents and siblings to be in some shots too. These images will become memories to treasure not just for you, but for the little family you are growing!

The magical milestones of childhood are reached at different times by our children. Some walk at 7 months some are much later. Whatever the stage of your little one I can accommodate them in my beautiful Hull and East Yorkshire, Baby and Toddler Photography studio and if needed tailor a session around your babies needs and abilities.
We have lots of lovely bowls, props, woolly layers, headbands and outfits at my Hull and East Yorkshire, Baby and Toddler Photography studio
What Happens At Your Session

Baby and toddler sessions usually last around 1-1.5 hours, I try to move quickly through poses/props so little one doesn't get bord but add time into the session in case your little one needs a hug or drink.
​
We can discuss before the session starts which colours you would like to incorporate and during your session you can choose which props, outfits and accessories I use. Don't panic if artistic flare is not your strong point, I can help with all of that, it is after all my passion! I also send out a prep guide which explains how things work and gives advice on styling your outfits too.
​
There is time during the session at my Hull and East Yorkshire, Baby and Toddler Photography studio for your little one to get used to me, I always have bubbles, teddies and a repertoire of nursery rhymes on hand to help get your little one's attention and hopefully some smiles too!
What Happens After Your Session

Once I have taken your photographs, I will carefully edit your images and get them ready for you to view.
Around 3 weeks after your session, I will send you an email with a link to book your viewing and ordering session.
When you return to the studio, you will view your images on a slide show video. This is always an emotional moment and I always have tissues on hand to catch those happy tears!
