Here at Bluebell and Lace Photography studio in East Yorkshire near Hull, our cake smashes have become a really popular way to celebrate a baby's first birthday and record those first tastes and giggles.
The session includes a beautifully created cake made by my fabulous local, fully certified cake maker Cake Topper Creator styled to suit your chosen set.
Your perfect cake smash session can be secured with jut a £75 session fee
1st Birthday Cake Smash Photoshoots for East Yorkshire, Hull and North Lincolnshire can be booked for anytime from 10 months old if you wish to have your photographs in time for your baby's party or even for your baby's actual birthday just make sure you get in touch around 3 months before your baby's birthday to secure your session especially if you need a weekend slot.

YOUR CAKE SMASH SESSION AT BLUEBELL AND LACE
1st Birthday Cake Smash Photoshoot East Yorkshire, Hull and North Lincolnshire.
These sessions are really popular and incorporate three different parts to tell the story of your little ones first birthday.
Your cake smash sessions includes:
Portrait set
Your session will start with a 1st Birthday portrait session where we capture "clean" shots of your little one in their smart birthday party clothes, we will capture individual shots of your little one as well as family and sibling ones too.
Cake Smash set
Next comes the smashing of the cake on one of our stunning backdrops! We source our cakes from a fabulous local cake maker who makes the most beautifully, delicious, cakes with soft butter icing which are perfect for little fingers to get stuck into. It isn't a great idea for little people to eat too much cake, so there is usually enough cake left intact for you to take home to enjoy with a cup of tea!
Splash set
Once the cake has been smashed it's time for a bath and a splash in the bubbly water!
This is a great way for me to catch those giggles and laughs as they splash and play. It also means that they go home clean and free from sticky fingers!

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOUR SESSION?
Cake Smash Photoshoot Hull
Once I have taken your photographs, I will carefully edit your images and get them ready for you to view.
Around 3 weeks after your session, I will send you an email with a link to book your viewing and ordering session.
When you return to the studio, you will view your images on a slide show video. This is always an emotional moment and I always have tissues on hand to catch those happy tears!
You can choose from our Photography Packages (shown below) and we can work together to design any wall art you want to purchase.
